Fujitsu enriches the 2.5" SATA Hard Disk Drive (HDD) with the Full Disk Encryption 7,200 RPM 3.0Gb/sec. SATA model offering the industry's highest security standard for data storage. The MHZ2 CJ series is designed to meet the growing needs for efficient security solutions required in today's IT platforms. The series features an AES hardware-based full disk encryption utilizing a 256-bit key, which permits the drive alone to provide the highest data security by simply setting a password. Since the AES 256-bit key is controlled within the processor chip of the drive, unlike software-based encryption, it provides stronger data protection from unauthorized access. The drive will automatically encrypt and decrypt the data transparently to the user with no impact on the system performance.
